Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a neurological condition that causes gross interference in the signals the brain sends to the body.  Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease that does not respond well to many medications and is often secondary to head trauma or systemic infection that affects the brain.  To effectively treat MS you must first slow the autoimmune destruction of the brain and spinal cord.  Once you have stopped the damage then the repair can begin.  In order to repair the damage it is important to fuel the brain and body with the nutrients needed to repair the immune system and the nerve tissue that is affected.  This is only possible when the original damage is dealt with.  Finding the original insult to the nervous system can be a long process, however this long winding trail does have an end.  It just depends on how competent your guide is as to how long it takes to navigate all the possibilities and arrive at the problem and then the correction to your individual problem.  After that it is possible to start working on removing the damage caused by your own immune system.  The one warning I can offer, as with other diseases such as cancer, be cautious of plans to destroy the immune system itself, in most cases it is doing its job and you can not live with out an immune system.
